"Behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on Him." So why did Jesus need to be baptized anyway? I mean, we're baptized to have our sin washed away. But Jesus didn't have any sin that needed to be washed away. It didn't make sense to John, and it might not make sense to us.
